EDITOR'S NOTES. --Ga. L. 1990, p. 579, § 1, effective July 1, 1990, repealed the Code section formerly codified at this article and enacted the current article. The former article consisted of Code Section 20-3-540 and was based on Ga. L. 1981, Ex. Sess., p. 8 (Code enactment Act), and Ga. L. 1939, p. 410, § 1.
By resolution (Ga. L. 2009, p. 627), the General Assembly urged the Board of Trustees and the president of Georgia Military College to maintain the current military program at Georgia Military College and designated the college as the State of Georgia's Military Junior College.
